Chelsea is an interior designer & project designer specializing in commercial spaces. She has ten years of experience in the industry. Her years of work experience comes from her time at IN:SITE Design Build Associates, a small but mighty design firm in San Francisco that serves Class A commercial high-rises. The small-sized team compared to the large number of projects allowed her to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment and wear many different hats early on. She was also able to hone her client-interfacing skills, and had the unique privilege of working closely with general contractors, commercial brokers, and developers in the early phases of a project, allowing her to excel at designing for cost efficiency, project budgeting, and value engineering. In total, she  performed the roles of interior designer, project designer, and construction administrator. Catering equally to the occupant and owner side of any given project, her approach to design beautifully combines user-centric planning, timelessness, sensibility, and sophistication.

Chelsea was born and raised on Oahu, and moved to San Francisco, where she received a BS in Interior Design from SFSU. In 2023, she moved back home to Hawaii with her young family and founded Methodology Design Co. She is a pragmatist at heart, and draws inspiration from color, texture, and Mid-century art and design.
